Kampüste Yaşam

Student Support Units, which continue their work under the Financial and Administrative Affairs Directorate of our school, cover the issues of security, disaster, emergency risk management, nutrition, technical services, cleaning and transportation, ensuring that the processes are managed and developed in the most effective way for all school stakeholders.

In our school, our students are provided with three meals: breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. Breakfast, afternoon snack and lunch are included in the school fee. The meals served are prepared daily in our kitchens within the school. The menus are prepared monthly by dietitians under the leadership of an academic who specializes in child nutrition, according to the daily calorie needs of the students. The final form of the monthly menus is determined by the members of the Meal Committee who meet once a month. The cafeteria and school canteen inspections are carried out by the school doctor and the school occupational safety specialist as announced/unannounced inspections.

Meal time is seen as a part of education. During this process, our students in Preschool and Primary School have a quality interaction with their class teachers.

Our basic principles regarding the preparation of menus and meals are stated below:

Menus are prepared monthly by Nutrition and Diet Specialists, dietitians and food engineers who specialize in child nutrition, according to the daily calorie needs of the students, and are published on our school website after being evaluated by the Food Committee and given their final form.

The Food Committee consists of the relevant School Vice Principals, School Doctor, School OHS Specialist, School Family Association representatives, relevant school administrators and officers.

The cafeteria and school canteen controls are carried out by the School Doctor, School Work Safety Specialist and the Food Committee in the form of announced/unannounced inspections, taking into account the legislation of the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Health.
For food safety, reference samples are taken from each of the daily produced products on the condition that they are kept for 72 hours.
A purification/filtration system is in place, and drinking and utility water is systematically sent for microbiological and chemical analysis.
The meal plan for preschool, primary school and secondary school consists of three meals in total: two snacks (breakfast and afternoon) and one main meal (lunch).

All vehicles are equipped with seat belts and telephones for our students to use for their safety during the journey. The route of each service vehicle is planned in a way that minimizes the time our students spend in the service.
