To help our students develop the skills needed to recognize, manage and express their emotions, understand others, establish positive relationships, cope with difficult situations and take responsibility.

What is Social Emotional Development?

Social emotional development is a process by which an individual develops emotional awareness, self-regulation skills, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making skills. These skills are the cornerstones for an individual’s healthy growth and development.

Step Two Program:

As Bandırma American Culture College, we have implemented the Second Step Program to support the social emotional development of our students. This program is a program implemented in more than 70 countries and aims to provide children with empathy, emotional management and problem-solving skills.
