Foreign language

Our English curriculum program has been prepared in line with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(CEFR) and GSE (Global Scale of English) achievements. Our program targets A2/A2+ language achievements in our 5th and 6th grades; and B1/B2 language achievements in our 7th and 8th grades. Our curriculum program gives equal weight to four language skills and also touches on their sub-achievements in different areas.

Our English curriculum also integrates 21st century skills such as Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity.

Our activities, ‘Book Character Day’, ‘Community Service Project’, ‘Spelling Bee’, ‘Junior Model United Nations’, Talent Show, Drama Day and International Exchange Day, which aim to take the target language out of the classroom and establish a connection with daily life, are offered to our students throughout the academic year. In order to determine the proficiency levels of our students’ language development processes on an international platform, it is aimed for them to take the Cambridge University English Language Assessment language exams specified in the table below.

Students’ language development is evaluated through process-oriented and result-oriented studies.
